The day before Christmas Eve...

Just a quick little update... (hey, but I did spend an hour uploading pictures to the blog here!)  I came home Sunday evening after the last Nutcracker performance (performances went very well, btw - more on them to come) and have been at home since!  It's been nice to relax and rest and have nothing in particular to have to do, or go, or whatever else!  I had a lot of stuff to put away and organize, and my room isn't quite back to normal yet, but it will do for now.  I'm enjoying preparations for Christmas, hanging out with both immediate and visiting family - decorating, enjoying good and forbidden food, (:-) ) Christmas lights and music, and all of that good stuff.  Tonight I had a nice time with visiting family and friends, so that was fun.  Christmas break is good for the head, and in a few weeks I know I'll be fresh to go back -- but not just yet!!  
The wind outside is whipping and the temperatures are nasty as a result, and darn it, there isn't yet any snow!  (Really want a white Christmas, seems more like a pipe dream now...)  Hope the new look of the blog for the Christmas holidays is liked.  Comment and share the Christmas cheer - any good movies, traditions, etc anyone cares to share?

I can hardly believe Christmas is almost here... more tomorrow!

Here is a sampling of Christmas-time photos I took in New York... I had a little bit of time in between classes, rehearsals, and going to the theatre to snap some pictures of the Christmas lights.  Enjoy!
